We hope everyone is enjoying the late days of spring - at the Club we are busy preparing for the upcoming season.

Today we wanted to share some news and an update on Early Bird Registration.

First, we are excited to share that we are now on Facebook & Twitter. You can follow along with us HERE for Facebook, and HERE for Twitter! Through these new channels, we will be sharing updates and will be able to connect with you more easily.

Additionally, as we mentioned on the homepage, registration takes place on Sunday, July 13th at Elmhirt Resort in the Lobby. We will have the form up on this site soon.

In the meantime, if you'd like to take advantage of our Early Bird Discount - Pay 50% before July 15th and receive $25.00 off CanSkate and StarSkate programs - please email us here.

Hello to all OSC families!

I hope you all had a fabulous summer. A new skating season is almost here and registration for the upcoming 2013/2014 year will take place on the 11th and 25th of September @ the Keene Arena from 6-8pm. Please join me in welcoming back Sarah Buttle and Melanie O’Hara; returning coaches to the club. I would also like to give a special welcome to new coach Kim Wilson from the Peterborough Skating Club.

I’m looking forward to seeing you then!

Being held in Millbrook, Ontario on March 2nd and 3rd.  All forms must have been submitted by January 13, 2013.  

The club will be looking for a list of volunteers to help with our role this year.  Please see a member of the executive for more information

Future Stars Competition will be held February 23rd in Beaverton, Ontario.  All forms to be completed no later than January 13th.

Please note that all regularly scheduled skating sessions are cancelled for the 5th of February due to testing.  Should you have any questions, please contact a member of our executive.

Our next scheduled assessment day is December 21st.  It is important to have your child in attendance that day so that coaches can run through all stage  requirements with your child.  If you know that you will be away please send us an email and let us know.

All members of the club and their families ae welcome to join us for a fun hour of skating.  Please note that all skaters that are not Skate Canada members MUST wear a CSA approved helmet regardless of skating ability.  

Congratulations to Alayna and Tyler on the birth of their beautiful daughter, Kylynn Anne Lillian Kerr, born this morning around 6 am.  Grandpa Reg says that both mom and baby are doing great and should be home in a couple of days.  Be sure to look for the pink balloons at the Woodbeck residence.
